token tracking, auto-compaction near the limit, /compact, a message bigger than the whole context window refused with its estimated size before anything is sent (attach it as a file instead; -p exits 1), each tool result capped at half the window (60 KB at most), and sessions saved with --continue/--resume (--resume <id> works from any directory: a session from another project is resumed in that project)
